EU Emark certification

International certification

E-mark certification is a vehicle product certification system based on the technical quality standard (ECE Regulation) formulated by the Economic Commission for Europe and the European Union Directive. Authorized institutions inspect and certify vehicles and their main parts and components, and issue E-mark certificates to qualified products.

According to the ECE regulations of the Economic Commission for Europe and the EU EC Directive, all vehicles and their main parts and components that need to enter the market of its member countries must pass the corresponding E-mark certification test and production consistency inspection, and the corresponding E mark must be printed on the products, otherwise they will be detained by the customs and punished by the market supervision authority of the importing country, and the whole vehicle cannot be listed on the road.

Certification process

Factory audit
Factory audit is required for the initial application. Shuntai auditors complete the factory audit. If the Ministry of Transport has ISO/IATF certificates, it can be exempted from factory audit
Submit technical documents
The manufacturer submits CAD three views and product technical parameters, and Shuntai engineers prepare technical documents according to the requirements of the Ministry of Communications
Sample test
The manufacturer sends samples to Shuntai for testing, and Shuntai accepts the witness test by the manufacturer's laboratory meeting the requirements
Issued by the Ministry of Communications
Shuntai certification experts submit reports and materials to the European Ministry of Transport, which reviews and approves the certificate. The review and approval cycle is generally between 2 and 6 weeks
