The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is responsible for managing interstate and international radio, television, cable, satellite, and cable communications products in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the United States territories. The Commission is an independent U.S. government agency supervised by Congress and a federal agency responsible for implementing and enforcing U.S. communications laws and regulations. FCC rules and regulations are published and maintained by the Federal Government Printing Office in Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
